How winners are selected
The Crown is not a popularity contest. There is no public voting, and winners are never decided by follower counts, raw views, or who can rally the most clicks. Instead, Beacon evaluates each nomination against transparent, weighted criteria — and a Master Administrator confirms every winner before the Crown is updated.

Why we don't use voting
Voting rewards reach, not merit — it favors whoever already has the largest audience and invites brigading and fraud. The Crown exists to recognize real impact, contribution, and stewardship. Every nomination is scored deterministically and auditably; Beacon records a score breakdown, its reasoning, and any integrity flags. Beacon advises; Master Administrators decide.
